Dear Michigan Federationists:



    I hope that you are having a peaceful and restful summer, enjoying family and  friends and the wonderful warm weather. Larry Posont has asked me to let you know that     our next National Federation of the Blind of Michigan biweekly Board Meeting will occur just after Labor Day, on Thursday, September 8 at 8:30 P.M. This is the week before the Michigan Commission for the Blind Board Meeting. It is very important that many of us attend the Commission Board meeting. This Commission meeting will be an important topic discussed at this next National Federation of the Blind of Michigan Board Meeting.

    The State Convention of the National Federation of the Blind is approaching quickly. This will be another important topic of discussion on the next Board Meeting. The Agenda is not yet finalized, but it will be by the end of September. Letters have been sent out by Larry Posont inviting organizations to speak on the Agenda. Larry Posont is waiting for responses. I hope that you will joine us for the next Board Meeting on September 8.
