                                         i.    EOC Motions:

1.   The Committee established a meeting schedule (INFORMATION ONLY)

2.   The Committee passed a variety of motions awarding 1995 and 1996 workshop attendance points as well as awarding identified voluntary training points in response to requests properly submitted by various operators.  (INFORMATION ONLY)

3.   Once the bid period has closed and a facility is awarded, the winning bidder (i.e., licensee) may not rescind their bid. If, however, the facility awarded does not open, or the licensee is not inventoried into the facility, within sixty days of the expected availability date as announced on the B E P Bid Line, the licensee may begin bidding on other facilities.  (INFORMATION ONLY)

4.   For cafeteria operators who have not attained their cafeteria certification, the 3 year certification window commences when the licensees signs the Vending Facility Agreement for their first cafeteria.  The three year certification window continues uninterrupted even if the operator signs an agreement for a new and/or location (i.e., vending facility type).  (INFORMATION ONLY)

5.   Operators must send their requests (including appropriate documentation) for voluntary training points to the Training Subcommittee chair for review and approval.  Following is a list of pre-approved voluntary training for which operators can receive points.   (INFORMATION ONLY)

1.   Food Shows.

2.   Business Education Classes:

a.   Cafeteria Certification Training.

b.   Classes pre-approved by the U.S. Department of Education.

3.   Seminar Training: Business Relative seminars sponsored by U.S. state government and trade organizations.

4.   Vending Machine Training:

a.   New machine training.

b.   One-time only location equipment training.
