If you want to walk the bridge but can't make it up for the entire weekend, here's another option for a bus trip from Lansing.

With the Michigan Department of Transportation Transpo Club
On Labor Day - Monday, Sept. 5, 2011
Cost: $35 per person.
Includes bus ride, snack and beverages on the bus.
- Depart Home Depot/Value City parking lot at corner of St. Joseph and Waverly Road
in Lansing at 3:25 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011.
- Arrive at Mackinaw City at 7:30 a.m., dropping passengers off at the St. Ignace
Welcome Center.
- Depart Mackinaw City from Fort Michilimackinac parking lot at 1:30 p.m., arrive
back in Lansing at approximately 5 p.m.
- Payment due with reservation.
- Purchase a souvenir t-shirt!
