Certainly if I catch your drift for those who lose sight later or anytime in 
their lives an emphasis should in general be put upon rehab that would allow 
a person to do his or her former jobheld before blindness.

As a general rule of thumbe this only makes sense as then one needs only to 
learn the general skills of blindness.

Now, of course this might very well be "case specific". for all the rehab in 
the worrld won't make that taxi cab driver "blindness ready".
