Does anybody on here who live in Lansing and/or East Lansing know the
difference between the 2 bus service of operation? For instance, does East
Lansing have longer service hours, or viceversa?

Hi,

Transportation is important. If it were me looking for a place to live, it
would first depend on where my job would be or where the best place to get
employed would likely be.

Now that I am almost to retirement age, I would perhaps be looking for
other things although transportation would be very important. In the latter
case, I would want to be near good hospitals because I have some health
problems that I didn't have when I was younger and employed.
Also, I would want to be somewhere where there were opportunities for
cultural activities.

Flint has a bad rap but housing is reasonable and there are always the
suberbs. Jobs are hard to get here. Not impossible though. There is county

wide transportation and this "Highway to Health" that takes you to major
medical facilities. They charge by your income. Some people go free and can
take a helper with them as well.

I have been to Livonia. It is a busy place and what you have heard about
transportation sounds quite accurate.
Best,
Georgia
