We expected this. They are building a new center right next to the old one.
Thanks. I also sit on our commission on Disability Issues so I know from
there as well.

TheRide’s Blake Transit Center to Move
to Temporary Facility on November 4
ANN ARBOR –
The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) will be moving the
Blake Transit
Center from its current location at 331 South Fourth Avenue to a
temporary facility
located on the adjacent surface parking lot, known as the “Y Lot,” at
350 South Fifth
Avenue on Monday, November 4. The move is needed so that the current
facility can
be demolished in order for construction work to continue on the new
Blake Transit
Center at 328 South Fifth Avenue. Signs directing riders to the
temporary facility
will be posted throughout the area, as well as on the facility itself.
The temporary Blake Transit Center will be housed in accessible, heated
trailers
that offer shelter, restrooms, and a lobby for riders. During the
morning of the
move, network access may not be available. However, cash and check
purchases will
still be accepted and the lobby and restrooms will be fully functional.
Riders are
encouraged to check
BlakeTransitCenter.com
for updates as they become available.

Best regards,
J.J.
