[nfbmi-talk] washington seminar

Hi Amy,

You know it would also be a good trip to our State Capitol to learn about
how our state government functions or does not in our case.

Frankly when they hire sighted, non-disabled student assistants to run a
facility meant for a blind entrepeneur then you and your son can see in the
corridors of our legislature how the very body that passed Public Act 260
violates it.

And yyour son can see a future of blind kids erased in this horrendous
assault to our democratic-republic.

Oh by the way there still isn't raised character and Braille signage there,
or at least there wasn't the last time I was their in spite of our rights to
it in tthe very corridors of power in our state.

Now I'm not trying to be stern, or even cynical here.

While I do not know your son I fight for his human and civil rights.

And right now those rights are violated in documented fashion in the very
building and by the very people who pass our laws.

--Ninety nine percent of lawyers give the other one percent a bad
reputation.--Steven Wright
