Terrific Tuesday Federation Family,

I hope everyone is doing great this week. We are excited to inform our
members as we are preparing for our 2025 Raising Expectation Accessing Life
program, hosted throughout the Metro Detroit area June 27-29, 2025, of a
great opportunity you can take advantage of while joining us in helping us
change the lives of blind youth and their families. As a reminder, the 2025
NFBMI REAL program includes three tracs:

*	NFB STEM2U (ages 10-16): Themed around the scientific method, blind
youth are encouraged to expand their horizons within the realm of STEM while
working on a multitude of activities and experiments cultivated by a cohort
of blind instructors in collaboration with the National Federation of the
Blind and COSI.
*	NFBMI Parent Education: Blind parents, parents of blind children and
guardians engage in seminar style activities, presentations and resources
that encourage advocacy training and skills development for the blind in the
realms of education, the medical profession and rehabilitation.
*	NFBMI Young Explorers (ages 3-9): This childcare trac offers
nature-based and age-appropriate activities for children of the parent
education trac attendees while they attend their sessions. Youth will work
with parents, licensed teachers, and volunteers to learn a variety of
accessible games and social skills in a safe, encouraging environment.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the National Federation of the Blind
of Michigan is proud to announce its 2025 REAL program scholarship, which
offers a half-rate registration cost of $50 for the next ten families that
register for the program. Interested attendees of this program must attend
REAL for the entire weekend and be part of either the NFB STEM2U or NFBMI
Parent Education trac. Interested participants should complete the
registration form and contact Robert Parsons at either President at nfbmi.org
<mailto:President at nfbmi.org> or (269) 216-8640 after completing
registration. This limited offer is a testament to both our members and
donors' belief in the Federation's programs, and we are forever grateful of
their support. We encourage everyone to please share our attached flyer, and
the registration link included below for anyone you believe would benefit
from this opportunity. We look forward to all your progress as you help us
build the Federation.
