Happy Friday Michigan Federationists!

 

I hope everyone is having a great day. We've got a lot to get excited about,
with us on the cusp of Mother's Day and the flowers in full bloom; I think
it's time that we talk about how our convention fundraising ideas continue
to bear fruit. The fundraising committee of the National Federation of the
Blind of Michigan would love your attendance at our monthly meeting this
evening, held on our state zoom line, where we will have a check-in about
our convention efforts. This This brief check-in will be to go over the
items that were discussed last week during our quarterly board meeting,
which outlined the items our affiliate has agreed to host at our "Taste of
Michigan" table at the 2025 NFB convention in New Orleans. Information about
how members can sign up for exhibit hall table shifts, pre-order items and
sign up for our ever-so-popular 50-50 raffle will also be available. As a
reminder, you do not have to be in New Orleans to support our fundraising
efforts at convention, join this meeting to learn how you can be a part of
the action and promote, support or be a change agent in our affiliate;
helping turn dreams into realities. We look forward to connecting with
everyone at 6pm in our affiliate Zoom room.
