Request for resolutions for the 2025 NFB of Nebraska State Convention

Resolutions play a vital role in shaping the policies and direction of our
organization for the coming year. Do we need to change a government policy,
take a stand on accessibility, commend an individual or organization for
outstanding service, or advocate for new regulations? If so, consider
drafting a resolution.

Any member may sponsor a resolution. Drafts must be submitted to the
President or the Chairperson of the Resolutions Committee no later than
March 14, 2025. Resolutions that receive favorable consideration by the
committee will be presented for a vote at the convention. If a resolution is
not approved by the committee, the sponsor may still bring it to the
convention floor for consideration.

A proponent of each resolution must be present at the Resolutions Committee
meeting to explain its importance. The committee may provide limited
drafting assistance, but resolutions should be in final form when submitted.

Barbara Loos of Lincoln is the Chairperson of this year's Resolutions
Committee. You may contact her at:
Address: 2742 Scott Ave., Lincoln, NE 68506
Landline: (402) 486-3679
Mobile: (402) 430-1917
Email: beloos50 at gmail.com <mailto:beloos50 at gmail.com>

The date, time, and meeting room for the first Resolutions Committee meeting
at our State Convention in Omaha will be listed in the program you receive
at registration. Additional meetings may be scheduled if necessary.

We encourage you to participate in this process and help shape the future of
our organization!
