Greetings Federation Family,

Please join me in congratulating Lucas Griess on being selected as a 2026
National Federation of the Blind Scholarship Finalist!

This is a tremendous achievement and recognition of Lucas's hard work,
leadership, and dedication. We are incredibly proud to have him representing
Nebraska on the national stage.

Congratulations, Lucas, on this exciting accomplishment. We look forward to
cheering you on this July at the National Federation of the Blind National
Convention in Austin, Texas.

We also look forward to seeing many of you at national convention as we come
together with thousands of Federationists from across the country for the
largest gathering of blind people in the world.

Riccobono, President of the National Federation of the Blind. "The finalists
represent a diversity of academic and professional pursuits, from

education, and law. We are proud to honor these blind scholars, whose
stories raise expectations and contribute to expanding possibilities.

The accomplishments of these outstanding students are proof that the blind
