Below is a petition to sign urging opposition to H.R. 620. Call your rep
(202-224-3121, follow the prompts) and sign the petition. It certainly
cannot hurt to do both. If passed in the House, it will be much harder and
much more work to keep a bill out of the Senate. Thanks to all for your
calls and petition signatures.

Hi
Just received a dailycos.com petition link from Sen. Camala Harris on this
very topic:
https://secure.kamalaharris.org/page/m/35b6db1b/122e2100/74f590af/ebe19c1/22
35030628/VEsH/

It will take you to the page for the petition, which you can sign.
Fair warning though, the signature link then takes you to her Act Blue
donation request page, but it should register your signature if you then
close the page when it tried to ask for the donation. Looks like we have a
few friends on the hill who are already aware - now we just need to
enlighten the other 534 members.

Good luck all from NH and down with 620!

"The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life  you want;
blindness is not what holds you back."
