The Jernigan Fund assists people to attend their first national convention.
This year Mary Durbin is helping interested individuals with the application
process.  As you will see from the note below, the deadline for submitting
applications is April 15.  If you know of anyone who would benefit from a
Jernigan Fund Scholarship, please contact Mary ASAP.  Mary can be reached at
mrdurbin at cox.net.

            Please see the following message from Allen Harris:

 

The 2009, Kenneth Jernigan Convention Scholarships will be awarded by
April 15th.  All applications (applicant letter and President's
recommendation) must be finalized before the 15th.  Any applications
received after this deadline will not be considered this "scholarship
year" and all applications will be returned, if unsuccessful this year.

Thanks to all of you who have submitted applications and have been
awarded 09, Conventi0on Scholarships.

 

We anticipate that more than 60, individuals will receive grants,
averaging $600.00.

you have questions.
