Hi All,

I found out about the paratransit in Detroit. The name is Metro-lift. It
travels anywhere in Detroit but does not go to the airport. The price of
the transit is $2.50 each way. It goes from the bus and train station to
the hotel and to other places in Detroit. For those who are traveling from
the airport there is transportation that goes to and from the airport and
that is called Smart. The cost of Smart is $3.00 each way. It beats $40
in a cab. (Laugh!)
Here's how you sign up for Metro-lift. Call Mrs. Pain at (313)-
(833-1429) she will ask you the number to where you have transportation, your I.d.
number, home phone, address and birthday. Once you give your information
you are approved. The person that provides transportation from the airport
name is Michael Patten and here is how to contact him (313)223-2304) Let
him know that you are coming for the National convention. They are
already expecting us.
Mrs. Pain will give you the number to reservation at Metro-lift to make
your appointment to travel while you are in town. You would need to make
your appointments 1/8 days in advance.

See you in Detroit.

Your sis in Christ
