Hello,

Here are some general notes for your awareness for next weekend's
convention.

First, people have asked about box lunch options. These will be the options
for both Friday and Saturday:

Vegetarian on Whole Wheat

Roast Beef and Cheddar on White

Turkey and Provolone on Whole Wheat

Ham and Swiss on Rye

Chips

Whole Fruit

2 Cookies

Condiments

Bottled Water

Second, if you have any special dietary requests, we will try, to the best
of our ability, to meet those needs. Your request should have already been
submitted to Sandy Halverson:

Please get those requests into Sandy absolutely as soon as possible. As in,
today would be great.

Third, our banquet ticket collection system has not changed from last year.
Tickets will be reviewed at the door. Please, please, please ensure you have
your banquet ticket before leaving the registration area. If you lose your
ticket, we will not have a means of verifying you paid. No, it's not the
best system, but until we change it, this is what we're working with.

Next, please be conscious of other people's allergies and sensitivities.
Please refrain from using strong fragrances. Yes, we have at least one guest
with a highly developed sensitivity to chemicals, but in general, it's
probably a good idea not to overwhelm people around you.

Finally, please pack sensibly. It's November. We live in Virginia. You have
a reasonable expectation of what the weather might be like, and please be
mindful of the fact the climate inside the building itself may also be
beyond our control. The Hospitality House staff, while very kind, are not
the Westin staff, and I can't promise to get the temperature in the meeting
rooms to the perfect degree for you. If the temperature in your guest room
is not what you need it to be, your call is not to me, it's to the front
desk.

As always, if you need information to registration, etc., please visit our
convention page:
