> Our annual State Convention is just around the corner, and with it all the excitement and fun activities that traditionally accompany it, including our statewide Action Auction! No, we aren’t meeting in person, and sadly we will hear a little less from our enthusiastic auctioneers urging us to dig deep; nevertheless, we can still participate in a highly energetic fund raiser.
>
> Introducing 32auction.com. Here our hard-working auction committee has organized an online auction table displaying beautiful items to bid for; and it could not be easier to access. Below you will find the link to our Virginia Affiliate’s auction page on the 32 Auctions site, and instructions for placing your bid on the item of your choice. But first, why?
>
> The 2020 State Convention Auction will benefit our local chapters and divisions which deliver programming, advocacy, and peer support throughout the Commonwealth. Our chapters and divisions assist students, parents, seniors, and working age adults to live full, active, and productive lives. Your contribution to the auction will go directly to the chapter or division who donated the item you are bidding on.
>
> So far there are 45 items waiting to find homes, all ranging from delicious treats like no bake cookies and homemade fudge donated by the Winchester Chapter; a very autumnal colored Coach Parker Handbag donated by the Prince William Chapter; and even an Orbit Reader 20 donated by the Potomac Chapter. So, dig deep and read on to learn how to participate in this year’s ACTION AUCTION!

> This will lead you straight to our Affiliate’s landing page. Once there, click the menu button located at the top right-hand corner and go to Account. Provide your First and Last name as well as your e-mail address to create an account. Once you have confirmed your information, you will be free to bid on any item that strikes your fancy. Choose your item and scroll down to the button that says, “Place My Bid”. You will see what the next bid up for the item is, and you will see a text field asking for your bid amount. You can enter the next bid up or even higher. Once done, hit the button that says “Place My Bid” then when prompted hit confirm. And that’s it. So please, join our auction and help us meet our goal of 7,000 dollars.
> Can we make it? Absolutely!
