The final day to Pre-register for the NFB NATIONAL CONVENTION is this coming Monday, May 31, 2021!

NFB NATIONAL CONVENTION WILL BE HELD JULY 6, 2021 THROUGH JULY 10, 2021

1. Go to the NFB website Convention landing page:

https://nfb.org/get-involved/national-convention

3. That will take you to the Convention landing page where you will find all the information you need about the Convention! Scroll down to the Registration heading. You will see two links, the first will allow you to register immediately online. That's the one I did! The second link will take you to a PDF for that you can print and fill out and then send in. I recommend the first link--the online registration, since it is fast and pretty simple!

4. Clicking on the first link, it will take you the the actual registration page. Here's what you do now:

a. You will be asked to read the NFB Code of Conduct. To do that, click on the link provided there. It will open an new tab and display the Code of Conduct. When you are done, you can just close that tab and you will be back at the registration page. Click the box that says you have read and understand the Code of Conduct.

b. Fill in the boxes with your name, address and phone number.

c. In the next section, Membership and Voting, you must be a member of the NFB to be able to vote. If you are a member, fill in your cell phone number, since voting is done by text message. Then mark both boxes under your phone number.

d. Next, you will have a couple of choices to make.

--The first is asking if you would like to attend the Parents of Blind Children Conference which is held during the National Convention. If you do, just click the box.

--The second is asking if you would like to attend the Career Fair during the Convention. If youy do, click the box.

--The third is asking about any accommodations you might need, Captions/CART, Spanish interpretation, or you can type in something else.

e. The last item asks if you would like to make a donation to the NFB. I know any amount is appreciated. If you can make a donation, simply type in the amount, which opens a credit card payment section. Type in your credit card information and confirm your billing address. If it is the same as the one you used to register, then leave the box checked.

f. Next, click on the white box that says "Review your registration"

g. Look through the information you entered . If you made a mistake, simply click "go back" to fix the error. If everything is ok, click "continue" at the bottom of the page.

h. The next page will say "THANK YOU FOR REGISTERING" and you are done!
