We are looking for volunteers in the following areas:

This only requires one hour of your time once.

yourself. This only requires one hour of your time once.
3. Be a chaperone on a fieldtrip. This will be about 2 hours of your time
once.
4. Be a daily volunteer in the area of braille, orientation and mobility or
daily living skills. This will require you to be present every day or as
time permits
5. Take pictures and videos during our program to send to families in our
daily debrief. This will require you to be present every day.

Two notes regarding volunteers:
Background Checks: ONLY volunteers and staff who are working directly with
students every day must undergo background checks prior to program
participation. Once you fill out our form expressing interest we will be in
contact for next steps.

training module before the start of the program each year. This training
prepares volunteers to support students effectively, follow program
protocols, <https://nfb.org/about-us/history-and-governance/code-conduct>
NFB Code of Conduct and uphold the NFBs philosophy of blindness. We will be
in contact with you on how to finish this.
