Subject: OTC students and staff on volunteer in adventure

Last Friday, the OTC students and staff spend the entire morning
volunteering for the Chancery House, a senior housing run by Catholic
Charities, and the Rainier Food Bank. Quill and 3 of the students
bagged several pounds of rice into small portions at the food bank and
the rest of the staff and students went to Chancery House cleaning 2 of
the apartments and boxing and bagging personal possessions of a
gentleman who passed away recently. Everyone worked hard and did their
share of the workload. Feedback from the students after the event was
very positive. They all enjoyed helping and giving to others and
thought the day was well spent. Both of the organizations really
appreciated our efforts and invited us to return for another day of
volunteering in the future. Mell put up pictures from the day in the
display case in the hallway downstairs so take a look when you have a
chance.
