Catch the Updated Braille & Large Print Menus Arriving at Red Lobster
Restaurants This Week

By Jeff (BrailleWorks Blog Admin), on October 9th, 2012

Red Lobster wants you to know they care, no matter whether you can see or
not. Starting next week, all of the nearly 700 Red Lobster restaurants in
the United States will begin handing out new updated Braille and large print
menus to guests who request one at their host-stand. So if you're someone
who loves seafood but can't see food, Red Lobster is the place to need to
go.

Red Lobster takes great pride in preparing fresh, delicious seafood over
their wood-fired grill for you to enjoy. In other words; they Sea Food
DifferentlyT.

I'd personally like to thank Red Lobster and their parent company Darden
Restaurants for their efforts to bring excellent and independent dining
experiences to people who are blind or have low vision. Instead of ignoring
the needs of the visually impaired community like so many other restaurants
do, they have chosen to embrace them and do whatever they can to ensure an
equal dining experience for everyone regardless of level of sight.
