Opportunity for Service

Washington State Access to Justice Board

The Access to Justice Board is seeking a strategic thinker with a demonstrated commitment to equitable justice to fill a seat on the Access to Justice Board. The position may be filled by an attorney or a person who is not an attorney. This position starts immediately upon being appointed and ends in May of 2018, with eligibility to be reappointed for an additional three-year term. The Board is especially interested in individuals who have an interest in the use of technology in furthering access to justice and can help us continue our efforts to build collaborative relationships between community-based organizations and the Alliance for Equal Justice.

To apply and learn more about the work of the Access to Justice Board, please see the attached or visit www.wsba.org/ATJ<http://www.wsba.org/ATJ>. Applications are due August 3, 2015, by 5PM PST. Please feel free to forward this announcement to your community partners.

Established by the Washington Supreme Court in 1994, the ATJ Board seeks to achieve equal access to the civil justice system for those facing economic and other significant barriers.
