Subject: Next Week - SAM Art Beyond Sight Tour

It's not too late to register for next week's Art Beyond Sight tour! The tour for visitors with low or no vision will take place on Wednesday, October 19th at 1:30 pm at the Seattle Art Museum located at 1300 First Ave., Seattle 98101. Visitors will be greeted at the Museum entrance on First Ave. and Union St. Docents can assist with coat check and escort visitors to the Arnold Board Room where the tour will begin. Those taking ACCESS transportation may request that someone meet them outside, please indicate your preference when you register. The tour starts at 1:30 pm and lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Arrive early at 1 pm for social time and light refreshments beforehand.  The October 19th tour will include visual descriptions of objects from the exhibition Go Tell It-Civil Rights Photography.

Art Beyond Sight tours are open to anyone who might benefit from a visual description based tour. Art Beyond Sight tours are free of charge, but advance registration is required. Spots are limited, so reservations operate on a first come, first served basis. Attendees are welcome to bring a companion on the Art Beyond Sight tour free of charge. Please let us know when you register if you will be bringing a companion.

All tours take place at Seattle Art Museum from 1:30-3:00 pm, unless noted otherwise.
