The next Art Beyond Sight tour of the Seattle Art Museum for visitors with low or no vision is on Saturday, February 17th at the Seattle Art Museum located at 1300 First Ave., Seattle 98101. The February 17th tour will include explore SAM's modern art collection in the exhibition Big Picture: Art Since 1945. We will see abstractions ranging from light and airy to flat and geometric<http://www1.seattleartmuseum.org/eMuseum/code/emuseum.asp?style=browse&currentrecord=1&page=search&profile=objects&searchdesc=Number%20is%202014.26.2&searchstring=Number/,/is/,/2014.26.2/,/0/,/0&newvalues=1&newstyle=single&newcurrentrecord=1>.

Please join us before the tour at 1 pm for light refreshments in Arnold Board Room.  The tour starts at 1:30 pm and ends by 3 pm with opportunity for further conversation and refreshments afterward. To help with wayfinding, visitors will be greeted by docents at our main entrance, on the corner of First Ave. and Union St. This is an accessible entrance, which means that visitors taking ACCESS transportation or taxi can expect a drop off area and a ramp. If you are driving, this entrance is also where the parking garage elevator leads to.
