The Department of Services for the Blind is currently hiring for a new
Rehabilitation Technician

Lacey VR Field Services Office.  The position is focused on providing direct
vocational rehabilitation services in addition to administrative support to
the interdisciplinary work team.  The goal is to prepare customers for
successful entry into the competitive workforce and gain independence.

The role must act independently and with decisions that rely on agency
vocational rehabilitation knowledge, Pre-Employment Transition Services,
administrative policies and "good practices".   The RT2 does have the
possibility of having a small caseload of customers as well.

Qualifications
Required:

Two (2) years of college course work;

AND

One (1) year of experience performing direct customer service in a
non-retail environment;

AND

Demonstrated ability to independently schedule, organize and prioritize
workload.

Please Note:  Additional experience and education will substitute for the
required education or experience

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling;
OR
Bachelor's Degree in a Behavioral Science with 18-quarter credit hours
vocational rehabilitation related subjects.
