Those were some of my favorite readers. For years I have been looking for a book called Star Island or something like that. It was read by Dale Carter and was about a girl who worked as a counselor at a summer camp. I don’t remember why I liked it so much, I just did.

I actually borrowed the book from our town's lending library about 12 years ago, scanned it in, and put it up on Bookshare. The book is out of print, too bad.

> Hi Judy, that's a question I've wondered about, too. I went on BARD to look for some of the old books that I listened to when I was a kid. They weren't there. I was disappointed. They aren't on Bookshare, either. It would be kind of embarrassing to list the books I'd like to read again, because some of them are young adult books from the 70s and 80s and stuff. Maybe even 60s. LOL. There are also certain narrators that I have always liked, so I went through Bard and looked under those narrators, and did add a few books to my wish list.
