I am not sure about the cost the Mariners would have for the OneCourt
devices.
I can tell you about the experience that I had at the Portland Trail
Blazers game. We were sitting in the nose-bleed section, but with the one
court device in our laps, we are able to feel the ball move around the
court. You feel a kind of double vibration when the team got the basket at
the ned of the court. You can hit a button and hear what the score is, and
what quarter you were in, and how much time is left.
I think it would be cool to be able to feel the pitch go from the mound to
the plate, and even if you are able to feel the ball go flying off the
board as it goes over the fence for a home run. I don't know if it does
that specifically, but one can dream lol.
I have to say that one thing that we had mentioned to OneCourt was to be
able to have the audio of the broadcast in one ear and the audio for the
device in the other. That is one thing we missed when we were at the Blazer
game.
