[NFBWATlk] financial assistance available for NFB Washington Seminar

Greetings,

The National Federation of the Blind of Washington has some funds available to assist people who want to attend the 2026 NFB Washington Seminar January 26 - 29 in Washington DC. The deadline to apply for NFBW funding is November 17, 2025. An Award Committee will review all applications and will notify all applicants of its decisions by November 24. Please read the information on the application form carefully. All attendees are expected to pay some portion of the costs. All attendees are required to participate actively in meetings with Members of Congress. Below my signature are some estimated costs. Washington Seminar dates: January 26 - 29, 2026
You need to fly to Washington DC on Sunday, January 25. Activities begin the morning of Monday, January 26. You will fly home on January 29 in the late afternoon or evening
 
Some estimated costs:
Airfare: $400 -$500
Hotel: $440 each with 2 people in a room, including taxes and fees
Food and ground transportation: $280
