Dear Federationists,

I don’t know if you saw this press release from the NFB, and I am quite surprised this did not make it so far into our mailing list servs. At least, I haven’t seen it, and sorry if it was indeed posted in our lists. 😊

This is a very important news release that came out of the NFB, and it is good to read, and reflect upon.
Also, please spread the word about it.

Especially given the fact that the new job cuts / riffs within the DOE will impact special education programs, which is something that I believe will be a detriment to our blind students in our schools. This is heart-wrenching.

I would encourage us to contact our Congress people and urge them kindly to do something about this! This is not something we can just pass through. We need to not stay silent and sit around.
