Ruth J.  Hunt, 78, of Buckhannon, died Wednesday, Dec.  16, 2009, 
in St.  Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon.

She was born Sept.  19, 1931, in Raleigh County, a daughter of 
the late Howard and Roxie Woodby Fearn.

On Dec.  20, 1967, she married Robert Loyal Hunt, who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Merrilee Ann Hunt of Buckhannon; 
one son, Robert Lee Hunt of Twin Lakes, Mich.; three brothers, 
Lloyd Fearn of Ohio, William Fearn of North Carolina and Ronald 
Fearn of West Virginia; and one sister, Bonnie Wickline of 
Virginia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three 
sisters, Hazel Wickline, Ann Gardener and Margaret Jones.

Mrs.  Hunt was the personnel director at St.  Joseph's Hospital.  
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Buckhannon, 
the Business and Professional Women and St.  Joseph's Hospital 
Auxiliary.

Friends will be received from 4 p.m.  to 7 p.m.  Saturday, Dec.  
19, at Poling-St.  Clair Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 
at 1 p.m.  Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev.  Bruce 
Macbeth officiating.  Burial will follow in the Belington 
Fraternal Cemetery in Belington.
