Subject: [Nfbwv-talk] Members' Auction

Hello fellow Federationists! It is time to start thinking about the
pcoming fall state convention and our members' auction. This year we
re recommending that you be creative and have fun with your auction
tems.  For instance, you can opt to make something; donate a new item;
olicit donations, whatever fits your style. Here are some ideas to
onsider:

o Baked goods (cake, pie, cookies)
o Homemade candy
o Homemade jams and preserves
o Christmas or birthday gift you don't want
o New or unused "I-don't-want-anymore" item
o Audio books
o DVDs
o Music CDs
o Quilts and throws
o West Virginia made items such as Fenton glass, pottery, etc.
o Any item donated from a store (need to start contacting now)
o Items from your local bakery that they're willing to donate
o Goodies from your local hair/nail care salon
o Donation from your dentist or doctor (no dentures please) smile
o Deli cheeses
o Candles
o Basket you put together of beauty products or food

Those are just some suggestions. Have fun with this. I look forward to
eeing all your creative ideas. HAPPY HUNTING!!
