Sheri, I honestly think the turnout was perfect. It was the perfect size for giving one-on-one training. I was telling my district manager about it and he wants to talk with me this afternoon about us doing one here in our conference room!!!

Thanks Charlene, Andy, and Sandy for your help and thanks Charlene for the kind words. It was a fun event. We wish it had been better attended but one always runs that risk when putting on such an event.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I had the honor and privilege of
attending and participating in a seminar that Sheri and her chapter did
this past Saturday at the library in Dunbar. Via a mailing to Kanawha
County patrons of the library services for the blind, blind and visually
impaired residents were invited to a buffet luncheon where they could
learn to serve themselves as well as learn some other basic blindness
skills and techniques. Sandy, Andy, and I assisted Sheri, John, Marcus,
and James with this seminar. The food was great and it was a wonderful
experience sharing information with people who really needed and wanted
it. I believe the Kanawha Valley Chapter will get some new members out
of this seminar.

I want to extend my thanks and appreciation to Sheri and her chapter
members for doing such a wonderful job with this seminar. It was a good
learning experience for me too and I hope to do a similar seminar in the
Harrison County area as well as across the state. What a wonderful way
to share the word of the NFB and do some membership recruitment at the
same time.

Charlene
