Keri,

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your sister and your aunt. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

That is great news about your boyfriend getting saved and making plans to attend college with you. I do hope everything goes well for both of you!!

Charlene

Hello all,

I'm doing ok. As many of you know I had surgery on the 23rd of June.
I've recovered well, and no complications from that. My olsder sister unfortunately passed away last Friday night. It has been hard for us, so please keep our family in your prayers. We also lost an aunt back on June 18th.

Even with the bad news we have had some good news. My boyfriend Nicolai was saved, and as a christian this really made me happy and was the answer to months of prayer. He has also decided he loves it here, and instead of waiting two years to finish his BA then come to the US for school he is going to come here and finish it at CU with me. This will put him about a year behind, but he really wants to do this. He will be back either January or earlier depending on all the preparations and such. I can say I'm thrilled and so blessed to have a wonderful man by my side. My family adore him and although they are probably thinking "They need to get married already" They have enough respect to not ask us about it. We are no where near ready for that, but I think if we do get married we already know what we want. lol You guys can think my aunt for talking about weddings to prompt us. :d
