Hi all!

A memory upgrade for the Victor stream 2nd generation is available for $37
from retroxpsystems at gmail.com

If you're like me, you've run short on your internal memory prematurely. I
do acknowledge that this is clearly my fault, for being greedy, especially
about podcast feeds, as I'm trying to follow 75 feeds on my primary Stream.

This memory upgrade should reduce that problem substantially, and I'm told,
also should result in the Stream turning on more quickly than previously,
also a frequent problem I've experienced.

This offer is not being offered by Humanware, so users should probably avoid
taking this route if your Stream is still under warranty. Mine is out of
warranty, so I don't have to consider that implication.

Payment is possible via Paypal, and since I have several Streams needing
support, I found a bulk discount was available.

This upgrade is achieved by adding a 32-Gig Micro SD card to your Stream,
using a previously undocumented micro SD slot that exists under the battery
in the Stream.

Some folks have had difficulty removing the battery door on the Stream, but
I've never had any problem like this. Guess I get lucky sometimes, because
I'm usually pretty stupid.

I understand that phone support is vailable for those needing help
installing this upgrade when you receive the card by snailmail.

Good of them to offer this, as the micro SD slot is not documented in the
Victor manual. You'd never guess that anything else can fit in there with
the space demanded by the battery, but, go figger!
Hope this is useful.

Cheers,
Dave
