Dear all,

I am reaching out since many of you have been contacted by a payment
processing company called ICheck.com. I wanted to share a concern with you
all. As a threshold matter, we worry about accessibility. I took a quick
look at there web site. While I have seen worse, this web site is not WCAG
compliant. The home page is clunky to manage with a screen reader. There
are no headings. I was able to create a membership but the training
materials, videos, are very visual.

As our Illinois treasurer I would not want to use a product which doesn’t
work for screen reader users when there are good alternatives that are
fully accessible. I did inform the company of what I see by copying Ms.
Duke who has been reaching out. If she reaches out to me I will keep
suggesting that they work on accessibility.

I hope this is helpful and saves us all time.
