Dear Rideshare Testing Coordinators:

We hope you are all staying safe and heathy. Despite this time of social
distancing, we understand that some travel still occurs for essential items
such as groceries and medicine. If you are traveling for essentials with
your service animal and take Uber or Lyft, please take time to report your
rideshare experience via the NFB’s rideshare survey
<https://www.nfb.org/programs-services/legal-program/uber-and-lyft-survey>.
Your feedback is critical as we prepare to return to court.

NFB’s Year Three rideshare blog is now available at
https://www.nfb.org/blog/uber-lyft-and-service-animals-discrimination-continues.
Please read and share the blog with others in your network.

Remember that we are requesting members with service animals who continue
to be discriminated against by Uber drivers, specifically, to consider
providing a signed statement regarding their experiences. Contact me by
April 17 if you are able to help with this important next step in our legal
work.

Please consider using the following social media messaging this month to
reach potential testers via Twitter, Facebook, and your affiliate’s
listserv.

· During this time of social distancing, you may still need to
travel for essentials. If you use rideshare with a service animal, please
complete our survey
<https://www.nfb.org/programs-services/legal-program/uber-and-lyft-survey>
and help the NFB monitor whether Uber and Lyft drivers continue to
discriminate against travelers with service animals.

Thank you again for your help with this important project. If you haven’t
yet, please take time to review the information at https://nfb.org/rideshare
.
