For those who may have missed or overlooked the earlier message, here is a last-minute reminder of our meeting this afternoon with a panel of administrators at the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind.


You are invited to participate in a meeting with the leadership team from the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind, hosted by the National Federation of the Blind of West Virginia.  This event will take place via Zoom on Wednesday, August 19, 2:30 PM EDT.  Complete Zoom meeting credentials appear below.

Many of us in the National Federation of the Blind of West Virginia are graduates or former students of the WV School for the Blind and have both a personal and organizational interest in the school and its future.  This meeting offers an opportunity for a first-hand update on programs and activities taking place on the Romney campus in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.  It also offers an opportunity to meet and get acquainted with new members of the leadership team, including recently-appointed superintendent, Patricia Homberg, and principal, Erin Surber.  Other familiar participants will include Jamie Vittorio, chief academic officer, and Christine Lewis, director of student living.
