                    Dear Seeing Eye Family,

There's an important bill being heard in the New Jersey Assembly Law & Public Safety Committee this Thursday, December 12th. Dusty's Law (S1907/A4105) will help protect guide dogs, puppies and their handlers, instructors and puppy raisers from attacks and interference by aggressive dogs. This measure has already passed the NJ Senate unanimously with bi-partisan support, and if we can get it through the Assembly, Governor Christie could sign it into law by January. To read the language for A4105 visit: http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2012/Bills/A4500/4105_I1.HTM

Please take a moment to email the members of the committee, and urge them to support the bill. Below are the emails of the committee members who are not already sponsoring the bill and sample text that you may use if you wish. We need everyone's help to move Dusty's Law forward. Please help in our quest to better protect guide dogs and their handlers. For more information, visit SeeingEye.org/protect or email advocacy at seeingeye.org.

                    Thank you,

                    Ginger Kutsch

                    Dear Assembly Representatives,

On Thursday, the Assembly Law & Public Safety Committee will hear testimony on Dusty's Law (S1907/A4105). Dusty's Law will increase safety for guide dog users and help protect service animals from those who might harm them. Please support Dusty's Law S1907/A4105 when it comes before your committee on 12/12/13. Thank you!
