God is Listening–Are You?
Most people have dreams and visions about what they want to experience in life, but before chasing any of them, you should find out if they align with God’s plan for you. Sometimes it’s hard to discern between what is real and what is fake or what is wrong and what is right. That’s why Christians need to consult God first, and then listen to what He is saying. It’s critical to guard your heart and keep your mind pure. Be careful who you listen to, what friends you choose, places you go, or activities you get involved with. Friends and family may try to influence you, but keep in mind that there are many voices competing for your attention. Always remember that not all of them are grounded in truth. Stay close to Jesus and listen for His voice in the midst of all the chaos. Remember that God will never ask you to do anything that goes against His Holy Word. And He will never leave you–no matter how hopeless life may seem. It’s important to pray, but it’s also important to listen. Go to God’s Word and hear what He is saying to you. The answers are clear if only you are willing to open your heart. Too many times Christians will seek God’s guidance only to be disappointed because they didn’t hear His audible voice telling them what to do. But make no mistake–God is there and He IS listening. Proverbs 2:1-5 NKJV - My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, And find the knowledge of God. 

John 8:47 NKJV - "He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God." 

John 10:27-28 NKJV - "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 

Revelation 3:20 NKJV - "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
