Blessed Assurance
Everyone needs a little assurance from time to time. No matter how hard you try, there’s always someone out there who wants to see you fail and is eager to tear you down. It’s surprising how quickly one negative comment can influence how you feel about yourself. But positive comments have the total opposite effect. It makes a huge difference in your day if your boss tells you you’re doing a good job, a friend compliments you on how good you look, or someone tells you how much they love you. It’s easy to get a case of ‘low self esteem,’ and reassurance from someone you respect and care about–goes a long way to getting your confidence back! One thing you can know with absolute certainty is–God loves you! In His Holy Word, He reassures you over and over again just how much He cares about you–so much so, that He sacrificed His only Son, to die on a cross –so that you could be with Him forever, throughout all eternity! Love just doesn’t get deeper than that! You never have to feel insecure about God’s love! He has promised that He will always be there for you, will never get tired of hearing from you, and will never turn His back on you! Jesus is 100% committed to you. The Bible says in Hebrews 13:5, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” and God always keeps His promises! There’s a song by Frances J. Crosby that expresses so beautifully God’s love for all His children, “Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.” Text: Isaiah 54:10, Hosea 2:19, Zephaniah 3:17, Micah 7:19

Bible Texts:
Isaiah 54:10 NKJV - For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed," Says the LORD, who has mercy on you.

Hosea 2:19 NKJV - "I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me In righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy"

Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV - The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

Micah 7:19 NKJV - He will again have compassion on us, And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins Into the depths of the sea.
