Ah, I know who he is. My undergrad advisor did a lot with esthetics and she 
was quite familiar with him and perhaps worked a little with him. She 
actually gave me a raised line drawing board that he constructed years ago.

  I work with Mark Pitt who does spoken word perception. My dissertation was 
looking at the interface between ambiguity resolution in spoken word 
recognition and individual differences in working memory capacity.
