I've done container gardening, just remember hauling water can be a pain in 
your a**.

I actually did tomatoes and pepers and strawberries. You can still grow 
herbs in your window sills.

Which ones did you want to grow? I live in an apartment too and I'll be 
putting in a little herb garden as well.
