Susan:

I'm from Arkansas, so know all about humidity!!

I found a really good website about chicken keeping; it is 
www.backyardchickens.com  There is a lot of good information for people 
getting into chickens.

It reached 111 today!  I think it's suppose to be about the same tomorrow. 
Fortunately we have very low humidity.
