[Ag-eq] my chickens

Nella,

The temps here are in the 90's to 100 with the extreme humidity. I have
already lost two hens, one of my old girls and a 2-1/2 year old that could
have been from being egg bound, it is hard to say. We are getting ready to
set up our drip hoses over the runs to sprinkle their areas when it is hot
in the late afternoon. My chickens are also active in the morning and
evenings. They have been enjoying soft fruits and vegetables that we pick
up from a local fruit stand as their discards. You can give your chickens
any old fruit and vegetables as long as there is no mold on it.
