[Ag-eq] Do I fight or just find some other way

Peg:

I currently don't belong to either the ACB or NFB, but agree that it is
important. I always suggest to my clients that they join an advocacy group.

I think it is important to be able to talk with other blind people. There
are some things that only my blind friends can completely understand.
They've had many of the same experiences and can give me ideas. I have
wonderful sighted friends and a great boyfriend, but they can't identify
with some of the discrimination issues I've faced. They are sympathetic and
often even angry, but they don't completely understand.

I think once I'm no longer working in the blindness field I will be more
involved with NFB, but I didn't want my whole life to be about blindness, so
haven't participated for the last few years.

Does anyone know if the agriculture division will have a meeting at the
national convention?

If so will there be a recording of it?

Nella
