Hi, All! I always thought that a guide dog is chosen for you whose walking stride matches your stride so that the dog is neither lagging behind you or dragging you down the street> Am I right? Am I wrong? Peg

He walked on the leash with me, and if I was not keeping up he would sit down and wait for me to get over the rocks in path. I kept asking him who was is trainer because I have never had a cat do that well on a lead. I thought I should train him to be a guide cat. He is a 20 pound Maine coon.
