Animal Vegetable Miracle is a great book about living on local foods. It
has recipes and chapters on raising turkeys which is hilarious! It is a
great read and is on NLS.

It seems as if most of us are familiar with Barnyard in Your Backyard, which
made me wonder about other books.

Does anyone recommend other books?

If so, where did you find them and are they accessable?

I read a book call "Keeping Chickens" which is also in the NLS collection.
It was pretty good and written for people who want to keep chickens in the
city.

I would love to hear about books that people have found to be useful.
