Jody,
My hens rest about 2 months. They taper off the end of October to Mid
November until I only get an egg or so every 4 to 6 days and then it is like
someone turns on the conveyer belt on slow and then gradually speed things
up starting January. My hen numbers are down and I am determined to get two
new flocks, 20 to 25 hens each and a rooster for each flock. I am setting
money aside until March because it is probably going to cost me around $300.
Matt has until then to make two chick carriers.
