Hi Jewel,

I really wouldn't want a gator around, I am just discouraged by the darn
rabbits.  The closest gator is a few miles away and we have a fenced yard
which realy wouldn't stop a determined gator but so far it has stopped wild
boar and deer.

Now we do have a resident armadillo but he only eats bugs.  Except for his
annoying digging he is pretty passive and since he only comes out at night
we don't even see him.  I wish I could put a harness on him, he would make a
great tiller.  hahahaha

I imagine you don't have many preditors in New Zealand.
