Tracy! See if you can get used xray plates from your local hospital's radiology department. you can
cut them up into very sturdy plastic labels, and by punching a nail through one end, you have a
lovely little hole through which to thread a string by which you attach it to the marker stick.

I'm getting ready to plant some fall crops. A couple things look pretty
similar at the beginning (cabbage and Brussels sprouts), and I'm trying to
think of a way to mark which is which. Inside, I braille on label tape and
stick it on a little plant stake, but I don't think the label tape would
stand up to the rigors of sun and rain. I guess I could make myself a
little braille map of what is where. I just wondered if other people had
other ideas.
