[Ag-eq] Chicken Killer

Guido, my guide dog before Guideon, the present incumbent, when he was young and full of mischief,
decided that killing those feathered things that wandered in and out of * his yard should be,
permanently, discouraged. That was what he thought, but did I have news for him, and, for him, it
wasn't good news!
His first kill took me by surprise, so I didn't have a deterrent device made, but, upon discovering
the corpse, I, immediately, set about rectifying that lack.
I had a battery-operated electric fence unit, so I connected it to one end of a long electrical
flex, and the other end to a nail hammered into a piece of wood.
Of course, before I could put this devilish device into action, there had to be a second, unpunished
killing which I knew would happen some time, sooner rather than later.
When it did, I attached the corpse to the nail that had the electric lead attached to it and then
went inside.
It wasn't long before Masa G came back to the body, but when he touched it, he found, to his
everlasting surprise, that dead hens can bite back, and bite very hard indeed!
He killed no more chooks!

I hope your neighbors dog isn't going to make a habit of killing your chickens.
I've always heard that once dogs start killing chickens it's really

hard to train them not to do it again.

Do your neighbors let their dogs run loose?
